Inspiring Children to Learn New Languages, Discover Amazing Places and Experience Different Cultures

Catnap Stories

Catnap Stories® is a series of children's books inspired by the adventures and mischievousness of cats, as well as the author's love of foreign languages and faraway travels.

These books have been written and developed with love and we hope to inspire children to want to learn about all of the wonderful friends, cities, countries and languages they will encounter through reading these short stories.

Inspiration

Through each of the adventures, we hope children will be inspired to read more, to be inspired to learn more about the world and all of its wonderful treasures that it has to offer and to be inspired to learn a new language or two.

At Catnap Stories®, we love learning, travelling and meeting new friends and we hope the children who read these stories will too.

Our Stories
Our stories are written for children aged of 4 to 11. We believe that parents would enjoy reading them to younger children below the age of 6 just as much as older children would like reading the books themselves. So if you're looking for children's bedtime stories or short stories for children that are also educational you won't be disappointed!

Each of our stories will introduce children to learning about living with and caring for cats, a new city or country, different cultures, famous sights and customs as well as introduce them to foreign languages. They are available in Hardback and E-book format.
Characters
The characters have been based on real people, and of course, real cats! The adventures are also real - we may have changed the names of some to protect their identities!

At the back of the book you will also find a glossary of all the french words included in the story as well as phonetic pronunciation suggestions.

In the third book, The Adventures of Vince the Cat - Vince Discovers the Wonder of Seville there are Spanish words and phrases all the way through the book - so this book is suitable for children who are more advanced in their studies.

The Adventures of Vince the Cat - Vince Goes Motor Racing in Italy has words, phrases and songs included in Italian along with the glossary at the back. And, you can download the pronunication file from the website for free.
